The Caffeine In Coffee Could Have Health Benefits
If you are worried about consuming too much caffeine in coffee,
then you may want to think again before you go totally decaf!
Studies have shown that coffee has many healthy benefits and many due primarily to the caffeine.
You may be able to enjoy these benefits by drinking 1 to 3 cups a day but still be spared from any
addictive effects.
Coffee with caffeine has been shown to relieve tension headache (thus, the reason that many aspirins contain caffeine).
The caffeine helps to close dilated blood vessels that cause the pain. And it can help reduce stress according to a report
by Yale University School of Medicine where a study found that participants who were given caffeine prior to exertion showed
higher levels of endorphins and cortisol ( an anti-stress hormone).
The caffeinated drinks such as coffee can also help with people that have asthma. The caffeine can reopen bronchial tubes and make
breathing easier and regular consumption is believed to help in moderating attacks.
And, of course, we all know that the caffeine can help improve alertness and concentration and give you a
little zing of energy! That after lunch cup of coffee can help to counter act the dip in blood sugar and help to keep you
awake at your desk. It can also help if you stay awake at the wheel if you need to do some late night driving and can help
with your concentration as well.
